Technology Interchange Meetings (TIM) allow DoD, Industry, and Academia to collaborate on Research and Engineering technology challenges. This year's event will feature a Keynote Speaker and expert presentations by a cross-section of the defense community, industry, and academia.  Attendees will hear presentations from industry and government, detailing the positive impact of FACE and SOSA adoption for buyers (end users), suppliers, integrators, and business representatives, including both Business and Technical lessons learned.

The Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Consortium will feature demonstrations with over 30 FACE Conformant solutions from over 50 Industry and Government FACE members, covering all segments of the FACE solution stack, running on the world’s most advanced multi-core compute hardware. These solutions will prove the value of open standards-based systems that encourage innovation, and will increase quality, accelerate airworthiness, and speed deployment of critical, advanced technologies to our warfighters.

The Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) supports warfighters and soldiers in the field by arming them with the electronic tools they need for mission success. The SOSA Technical Standard and Ecosystem focuses on an integrative and inclusive standard to accelerate the development of affordable, agile, and composable sensor systems. In line with the MOSA directive from the Department of Defense, the SOSA Technical Standard leverages modular design and widely supported, consensus-based, non-proprietary standards for key interfaces.

The Air Force OMS (Open Mission Systems) initiative incorporates open standards including SOA, UCI, and FACE, all for standardizing messages, command, and control mission information for avionics systems.

Target Audience: Program managers and procurement managers, across all the services as well as their contractors and suppliers.

The event is free to attend but registration is required.
Pre-registration is strongly advised to avoid long lines and delayed entry onsite.
