Healthcare Forum: Value-Based Architecture for Healthcare and Beyond – Learn how the Healthcare Forum is using the Open Value-Based Architecture, O-VBA® — a practical, scalable methodology and toolkit that aligns enterprise capabilities with strategic objectives by organizing work around value streams and the people, processes, technologies, and information needed to achieve desired outcomes — to address complex clinical and operational challenges. Discover how these same principles can be applied across industries to accelerate transformation, reduce complexity, and enhance performance.

This session is ideal for Enterprise Architects, digital health leaders, transformation teams, and anyone interested in a low-barrier approach to architecture that begins with the people doing the work.

While initially developed for hospitals and healthcare delivery systems, the O-VBA is industry-independent. Its structured approach to mapping value streams and capabilities can be applied to any enterprise undergoing transformation—whether in government, finance, energy, or manufacturing.

Industrial Advanced Nuclear Consortium (IANC): The Open Group has officially launched the Industrial Advanced Nuclear™ Consortium (IANC), a collaborative initiative to accelerate the deployment of advanced nuclear heat and power solutions for industrial applications. This global effort brings together industrial users, technology providers, EPCs, engineering firms and others to shape the future of carbon-free energy in heavy industry.

The primary objectives of the Consortium include:

• Standardizing interfaces and sourcing terminology
• Adopting risk-appropriate design practices
• Developing open frameworks and business guidelines

These efforts are designed to encourage competition, lower costs, reduce regulatory and scheduling risks, and ultimately deliver diversified, dependable, and decarbonized heat and power solutions for industry. For organizations interested in the possibility of utilizing nuclear generation as a way to reduce emissions, while providing heat and power for industrial plant applications, this awareness session will provide a view into the key role this consortium will play in furthering these ambitions.

Open Digital Transformation™ Forum: The newly established Open Digital Transformation Forum (ODXF) is a dynamic, Member-driven initiative focused on developing vendor-neutral guidance, best practices, and standards to enable effective, sustainable, and business-driven Digital Transformation across sectors.

Whether you're modernizing legacy systems, building data-driven Enterprise Architectures, or aligning transformation with strategic business outcomes, this session will give you early insight into the Forum workstreams.

Open Process Automation™ Forum: Join us at the O-PAS™ Industry Awareness Session in Houston this November 3rd to explore the groundbreaking work of the O-PAS™ Standard. 

The Open Group Open Process Automation™ Forum is a global, consensus-based forum dedicated to transforming industrial process control through a standardized, open, secure, and interoperable process automation system architecture. Non-members will gain valuable insights into how the O-PAS Standard is revolutionizing operational agility, reducing system lifecycle costs, and fostering innovation. Learn about the tangible benefits of adopting an open process automation ecosystem and how your organization can prepare for the next generation of industrial control systems. 

This session is beneficial for anyone involved in industrial operations, technology, or business strategy to understand the impact and opportunities presented by the O-PAS standard. 

OSDU® Forum | Energistics® Consortium: The OSDU Forum is developing the open source software supporting the exploration, development and production of energy sources based on subsurface data analysis. The Sessions will explore the business rational for the establishment of Standards and software products for the energy community and technical aspects of the OSDU Data Platform open source software.

The second part of the Forum Industry Awareness session will overview the standards for Wells, Reservoirs, and Production along with the current Member activities of the Energistics Consortium.

Security Portfolio: Security breaches are an ever-increasing risk for organizations from every industry and of every size. Cyber threat actors are continuously innovating and evolving technology to further their goals, and industry must carefully prioritize how they spend to mitigate or prevent attacks against their valuable assets. Open security standards provide a consistent, rigorous way to understand security needs and improve prioritization decisions.
