The Open Group is a global consortium that enables the achievement of business objectives through technology standards. Our diverse membership of more than 800 organizations includes customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics, and consultants across multiple industries.  The Open Group leads the development of open, vendor-neutral technology standards and certifications. 

The Open Group works with customers and suppliers of technology products and services, and with consortia and other standards organizations to capture, clarify, and integrate current and emerging requirements, establish standards and policies, and share best practices. Our standards ensure openness, interoperability, and consensus.

The Open Group Security Forum is a trusted, collaborative environment for both the customer and supply sides of industry, government, and academia, who share a common goal of securely and pragmatically enabling business needs within organizational risk threshold and tolerance in light of achievable and cost-effective technical solutions.  Forum member projects include: 

 
The Open Trusted Technology Forum (OTTF) objective os to increase product integrity and supply chain security by developing open standards and certification programs that identify trusted providers so industry can "Build with integrity, Buy with confidence." The OTTF provides a collaborative environment to facilitate creating international standards focused on supply chain security to establish a unified view of practicing supply chain risk management (SCRM) for information and communication technology (ICT) products.
