Toolkit Tuesday Broadcasts Series
The Open Group has collated a portfolio of the most pertinent Standards, Frameworks, Reference Architectures, Tools, Models, and Guides for Architects together in one place. What they all have in common though is that they have been created by leading experts in their associated field, based on industry best practices adopting a thought leadership approach, ensuring they meet the exacting needs of their audience.
The Open Group has a proud record of creating and maintaining technical standards and tools that have proven to be invaluable to the Enterprise Architects community, whether they are industry-wide or aligned to specific vertical sectors.
For most of these tools, there is certification available so practitioners can evidence they have the skills required, and recruiters can take the guesswork out of the recruitment process – all backed up by our open badges program.

Public Digital Platforms - Realizing Ecosystems in Government
Digital platforms are here to stay. As an acknowledgment of the benefits and advantages they bring to transformation initiatives, Public Digital Platforms (PDPs) are now being conceived, designed, developed, and rolled out to provide public services. Priority sectors have been identified and India is currently developing and rolling out platforms covering healthcare, agriculture, education, women and child development among many others.
Based on the best practices of the TOGAF® Standard, the proliferation of PDPs in India is having a profound impact on how public digital services are provisioned and consumed, the consolidated results of which will be measured along three dimensions: 1) ease of governance, 2) ease of living, and 3) ease of doing business. The TOGAF® Standard, a standard of The Open Group, is a proven Enterprise Architecture methodology and framework used by the world’s leading organizations to improve business efficiency.
Architecture as characterized by interconnectedness, flux, synthesis, circularity, emergence, and holism will be central to PDPs. India's emergence as a leader in space is reflected in World Bank’s GovTech Maturity Index (GTMI) 2021 and BCG’s Digital Services User Satisfaction Survey 2020.
