Mark Van Bavel
Topic: Global Merger combined with Digital Transformation using Enterprise Architecture as Strategy
Synopsis
In this presentation, Mark will discuss NTT Ltd’s overall digital transformation strategy and journey to integrate and merge 34 companies into “One NTT”. A complex multi-national merger, or a digital transformation in a competitive market, are both complex endeavours, and NTT are doing both to transform their company at the same time.
Enterprise Architecture, as a means to define the strategy, operating model, blue-print and roadmap, is key to defining, communicating and driving this strategic transformation. Mark will present how NTT uses Enterprise Architecture approaches, including target operating models, capability models, blueprints and application portfolio management to simplify, consolidate and modernise the IT landscape, thus enabling global agility, shared services, reduced operational cost through digital automation and technology modernisation.
